MNB

Every Saturday in Novemeber is a big game for the UGA Bulldawgs starting in Jacksonville when we make our trip to the beach, coming home for Homecoming, and ending against our state rival, Georgia Tech. We also have South's Oldest Rivalry - the annual trip to Auburn or Athens that is never missed. The best game I have ever been to was beating Auburn at the Blackout. If you were there, it was a special day.

*This will also be remembered by my friends as the night I got very lost downtown - if you are in Athens make sure you specify if you are meeting your friends at the ARCH or the ARCH bar before your phone dies.

Since I haven't had much luck at away games this season, we went to check out Monday Night Brewing on the Westside instead. I have had many great recommendations from friends about the place and with lots of new breweries popping up around town, it was time to give this one a try.It is $10 to get in which gives you 6 beer tickets and this fancy glass.

Yes, we were here on the weekend...but there is no beating that deal any day of the week.

Monday Night Brew is in a warehouse/industrial space but what sets MNB apart is the parking (this is always a big thing for me) and the good patio space. The patio has cornhole and all the usuals but also a window connected to the bar so you are not continuously going in to try new pours and enough benches for everyone in your party.

The building is decorated with the Atlanta skyline and attractions, a mustache fireplace (because why not?) and a "Tie-On" wall. They have decorated the wall from donations - or ties that just never made their way home.

If you bring a tie to donate, you get $1 off of your admission.

We wanted the perfect spot to get a shot - only the prettiest ties please.

My boots are last years, but you can final similar here. L is wearing our favorite Bandolino's.
With a wall size projection screen, it was a great spot to watch a game and grab some great drinks. MNB closes at 4PM but if you are in early, they will let you hang out for the last of the drinks and to finish the game.

Use your tickets to try my favorites: Fuman Brew and Eye Patch Ale.

This would be a killer spot for an event and I am hoping to tag along to something there soon or use it for future party planning venues!

Some people always say they are surprised why they don't make it on the blog more often... this may be why.
